Today is Rice Dumpling Festival, there are 2 days holidays in China.
I missed mum’s rice dumpling.
I decided to tried the rice dumplings from few stalls.
Thus Jonathan, Anglia and I went to buy rice dumplings after our “jogging” in the morning.
We bought the red bean paste ones from 2 different stalls.
Both of them was not bad…Thus in the afternoon we decided to try to meat one.
But yet, it was too disappointing compared to what we have expected.
Jonathan Ho bought us rice dumplings also, how sweet he was. But, I really had enough…. He bought the rice dumplings with peanuts inside one.
Then JewPing and MingFu also bought one for me which filled in jujube. It was sweet and nice.
So totally…..I had around 4 rice dumplings today..
Other than dumplings, it was all about project already.
4 more days to submission.

39th DAY
Today is the last day for classes in the Studio.
Last official day for tutorial.
Project n progress.
It is getting more and more stressful.
I just wish everything can be done as soon as possible and I wanted to go home.
I missed everyone.
Tomorrow would be rice dumpling festival. Thus there is no more class until submission.

33rd DAY
It was so sad that Blogger has been blocked. Although we got new way to get into blogger, there is no photo uploader. Photobucket was not running well, I met problems uploading photos. Thus, pictures will not be uploaded until I went back to Singapore.

Today DID and DXPD headed to design firm and show flats.
It was so amazing that we saw SUBWAY in China, and finally, couldn’t help to go in and get a sandwich. It was the first time I order SUBWAY meal in Chinese, quite stressed. The server there is quite impolite, made me annoyed. I was quite disappointed with China SUBWAY, the service, and they don’t have Hearty Italian and they never toast the bread.
First stop we went to an advertisement design firm – 180一捌零. This company was pretty cool with their advertisement, their design was actually interesting. The idea and the way they express it.
Second stop we went to a show flat called the Fifth Country. It was designed by American Architects and Designers. The show flats are very excessively decorated and heavy, to me, hmmm, well, in another word, it is not my style. They looked British, luxury British Style.
The last stop we went to E-graphics, they do graphic design. The introducer is from France. He roughly made a presentation, how I wish he would introduce more about their design. LOL

32nd DAY
We presented the basic ideas of the plan, still experimenting.
For this stage, just work on it. AutoCAD drawings still need to modify and improve. Mr J Ho suggested us to design a “tetris” staircase as we actually got nothing to detail on.
Oh, what a difficult task, to me.
Days to submission left on 6 days excluding this Friday, I couldn’t imagine what would the rest of the days look like.
After lunch, there was a talk by a Professor.
I spent the 2 hours talk sleeping in the hall. I couldn’t help it with only 3 hours sleep this morning.
After the talk I asked for the lecture note and we had some conversation.
The professor thought that the association of ideas the very important to students, students should be taught to be creative most importantly. Student should be taught of that in school. As that is the selling point for designers. Nowadays, the education of design is more on project base. Most of the time we are rushing for projects, like what the professor said, when they are doing projects, they will absent for tutorial. Tutorial period to her is actually about communicating, we might not need to talk about project, but everything. She thought that the thinking mind and problem solving are being taught through conversation.
Project, sometimes kills students thinking minds, as we need to rush for submissions, and production period actually take more times to do.
Most of the time, I’m rushing, most of the time I was unsure what I was doing for my project. When I try to recall what I have done about the project, I found that I couldn’t remember anything.
Design is supposed to be fun and interesting isn’t it. Yea, it is, but I don’t have much time to enjoy it. Or is 3 years course too short?
After that we went to indoor stadium to play badminton, 2 hours of running, playing badminton. It was fun.

31st DAY
Day was served with sun shine and strong wind.
Nice. Quite cooling.

Well.

3AM, sun started to rise and I never notice until 430AM. The dawn was not that nice to me, as the blue was sad one, no gradient, no any yellowish or reddish with it. It was not cheerful.
Or in another way to say, I was too tired to enjoy the dawn, my mood at that time was totally shut down. It's actually nothing deal with the innocent sky, I know the sky did not mean to be that colour or it might be cheerful to all people in the world but me. Whatever. It was just a sky.
I slept at 5AM, 3D was not yet done. -.-

30th DAY
Nothing much for these two days.
Whole day working on projects. I started to miss my mum and dad again, wondering why they didn't call me.
Yet, it was amazingly they called me after my wonder.
I wonder they could hear my wish that wishing them to call me?
Then would they know that how much I missed them? I guess they would.
That was why they called me.
I told myself pretty confidently. They missed me, as much as I missed them.
I was in charge with the 3D modeling while Alice is doing the AutoCAD drawing.
Actually I found myself quite self-centered, especially discussing about ideas. I wish I did not torture her too much. I wish she will not be unhappy working with me.
Whole day working on projects. I started to miss my mum and dad again, wondering why they didn't call me.

29th DAY
Morning was actually planned to play badminton at the outdoor stadium. After one round of warming up by jogging, the wind was too strong to play badminton. Quite upset, thus three of us decide to have a walk in campus. We explore new place and walk around. In the end I bought KBJR again .
Back to my room. Time to do work. Sad. Seems like the time left for project is getting lesser and lesser..... omg
and I wonder why my shoulder and leg is getting more and more painful. I guessed it was because of the Bungee yesterday, as I was tied up and being thrown away and pull back quite forcibly.
Thus I didn't join the guys to play badminton at night.
I wait for them to come back and have dinner together. Quite fun that we had our dinner along the corridor that night. Lok Kok Team was created in that way. HAHA
At night I was quite unintelligibly want to drink green bean soup, at around 12AM. My dear roomate surprisingly agree with my idea. Thus we had green bean soup for supper. Honeymooners had a small small gathering in my room at that late night. haha, it was hard to see gathering in my room as my room seems the smallest one in student condo. But well, I was quite happy for that.
Sleep at 3AM. Finishing my plan of a chair.
