6th DAY

Friday, Tour Day.
It was so sad that the rain came again.
The environment get back to sadness and not any colourful.


First stop, we went to Dalian Modern Museum.
It is like a Historical museum which talk about Dalian.
This building have a modern look, straight cut, using of glasses.
I like the dome with lights coming in. I felt that is a nice treatment of an entrance of the museum. 小心慢行 "Please Slowly"
Hmm...I was heard about China Signboard translation quite some time ago.
Haha. I recalled Louis Kahn's "Own this slice of sun"
and I would like to touch it~

After that, it was just a drive through to the places.... Because of the heavy rain.
So sad.
Then after that we reached a place called 老虎滩 to see 棒棰岛
It was freaking cold!!!!!! The strong wind blew, it was freezing! and it was raining still!!!After freaking cold walk to the beach.
It was time to have lunch WHOO!!
This is the best lunch we had since the day we reached China~

Because of the bad weather.
We have to cancelled all the trip except shopping!!!!
Break Talk here called 面包新语，But in Singapore it was called 面包物语Starbucks~~星巴克Watsons 屈臣氏>_<

Today, Thursday.
Morning, we had a Intech Lecture. Nothing can be delayed anymore.
We were so far behind from the project schedule.

The weather now is around 7 Celsius to 11 Celsius.
Pretty cold. This kind of weather just make me feel sleepy at all day.
haha, well. I gotta work that out.
Stay AWAKE!!
After lunch, we had dinner at first canteen "第一食堂".
Finally, I had something that really taste nice and not that salty.
GOOD! Thumbs up

Then, all of us gathered at the lobby again.
Now we were having site visit to 大连软件园腾飞园区.
It is an IT Industrial Park which is newly up and it is still in processing.

The concept is to "Work, Live and Play".
I found nowadays a lot of residential area also headed to this concept.
That is what people is looking for now.
Serious yet not so serious, play yet still won't go too far.
(confused, LOL)
A bit touch on with their traffic and driving again...
People here are really mad.
They just anyhow drive. The line separating left and right does not work at all.
They just drive here and there.
Cars U-turning in the middle of the road.
Car horns everywhere, every time.
People just cross the road when there are a lot cars pass by, and they can stand in the middle of the busy road as well.
Bicycle here and there too.
This is what is happening there, and I would never see it in Singapore.
I had a pretty exciting as well as pretty scary bus trip to the Industrial Park.Finally,I reached Industrial Park safely.

Well, this building is quite different from the others.
especially the colours.
What can be found in Dalian, China is their colour scheme, their building.
There are all in grey tone, brownish and heavy, mostly using stone for main structure and facade.
But IT Industrial Park is different.It is almost covered by glass with framing, modern look.
This is the model of the entire industrial park.(Just having some fun)
Guess what is this? Voting box?Bowling Ball? or Pepper Shaker?
We got the chance to have a look with their office space which have not been rent out.
From the ninth floor. I got to see the sea!! Finally~
So can see from the picture below. This is the colour scheme of Dalian China.
Not much accent colour. I wonder if it is because of the dust there also.
Having fun~~ at all time!

After the site visit, we went to a shopping mall to get our stuff done. SHOPPING!!!
Haha.

This is the 快速轻轨 of Dalian City. And this is their Petrol Station. Hmm...They named it 中国石油.
So this is the shopping mall, Peace Mall和平广场.
A lot more coming soon.............................
Tomorrow we are going to more places to visit.

Time to sleep.
