21st DAY

Hi, There is rain shower in Dalian today.
The temperature drop really fast, 20 C/13 C.
Strong wind and rain.

Recalled Thursday night, Anglia, Jonathan and I joined JewPing's and guys group for steamboat.
Hmm, This time I tried their beer 青岛啤酒. It is quite nice to drink, not dry and taste good.
Hehe, next time should try more =P

Before Anglia, Jonathan and I went back to hostel, we went to buy fruits (again). Auntie then gave me a very small mango to try. WHOO, have you seen the mango in this size?
Friday morning, as there is no more tour to food industry for Design Students. We were set free for the day.
Anglia, Jamie, Jonathan, Jiamin and I went up to the hill of our school, 玉山. As I heard my Chinese buddy said there is a place on the hill where we can see the whole airport and the track. Thus, we decided to check it out.

It was so beautiful to see the view around the school. Yet.... The bees were so many and keep flying around us! Scary!
We din stay long in the first place and we walked to another hill which just so near from where we stood just now. Clearer view of the airport. Although is very warm that moment, yet we stayed there to see airplane flying off.
Pretty cool huh?! NICE~~~
Then we walk down to another side, started exploring another side of DPU.
We found the third foodcourt and had our brunch there.
Yea, before that we went to the supermarket next to the food court, we saw envelopes. Suddenly feel like writing letter home.
Hmm... Thus we bought envelopes, blank paper and full scape paper for writing.
^^ so exciting, it has been a long long time I never write a letter.

On our way back to hostel, we found some other interesting place as well!
There is a small garden in front of this building 研究生学院。
There are some benches and table under trees, it is pretty comfortable and relaxed while sitting there. SO NICE!
We recalled of Margaret Drive, OMG LOL -.-
Back to hostel, time for letter.
We set our timing to meet at an hour later to be ready for posting letter.
Everything done and we headed to the post office just next to our campus.
my letter 9gram, and cost me 5.60 RMB to post to Malaysia.

May I post myself back home as well~? Please.....



Some random stuff. I always saw them when I walk out one campus of our campus.
Cute bunny. Can't help to pet it.
Well, and this is what the seller always tell me, "每次都情不自禁来看，想养，却又带不走是吧？" and a smile from him.
I smiled back, sad in my heart.
How cute they are, and how much I would like to own them.

19th DAY

Windy and the weather is quite okay, not too warm, not too cold.

It's pretty cool today.
We had our interim review today.

Then we had our lunch in a Korean Restaurant which we found it was quite nice to eat last time.
I had a cute Coca cola bottle, WHOO!

And we saw the doggie along our way back again. It's so so cute!
2pm, we had a talk by the professor of DPU University Visual Communication.

The professor asked us to create something or do something related to the environment. As the environment is quite a serious topic in the whole world now.
The most important thing to do is to save our environment.

After the talk, I also start thinking about the relationship and difference between Art and Design.
To me, art do not need any logic. It can be anything, everything. The purpose of art is to giving a message, a concept, a thought of the artist. Art is very subjective. A judging of a good art is the story behind it, the first impression to the reader, the modality.

Design is different. Design needs logic. Design is to create something which can give human a better life. No matter what design it is. Experience design, interior design. Design need practicality. A good design requires good usage, base the human needs and function, material, everything is very practical, then colour scheme, taste comes.

I do agree that a good design is an art piece. YET a good art piece might not be a good design.

Then we had a visit of an exhibition by the students from Sculpture.
