29th DAY

Morning was actually planned to play badminton at the outdoor stadium. After one round of warming up by jogging, the wind was too strong to play badminton. Quite upset, thus three of us decide to have a walk in campus. We explore new place and walk around. In the end I bought KBJR again .

Back to my room. Time to do work. Sad. Seems like the time left for project is getting lesser and lesser..... omg

and I wonder why my shoulder and leg is getting more and more painful. I guessed it was because of the Bungee yesterday, as I was tied up and being thrown away and pull back quite forcibly.
Thus I didn't join the guys to play badminton at night.

I wait for them to come back and have dinner together. Quite fun that we had our dinner along the corridor that night. Lok Kok Team was created in that way. HAHA

At night I was quite unintelligibly want to drink green bean soup, at around 12AM. My dear roomate surprisingly agree with my idea. Thus we had green bean soup for supper. Honeymooners had a small small gathering in my room at that late night. haha, it was hard to see gathering in my room as my room seems the smallest one in student condo. But well, I was quite happy for that.

28th DAY

Finally, We are blessed with nice weather on weekends. Usually weekends will be rainy days. Thus, Honeymooners decided to go to XingHai Square where we had been thinking of it quite long time ago. Alice and Amanda was not joining us, what a regret.

We had Yoshinoya brunch in 兴工街 as we had the promotion voucher. The beef bowl is nice. I felt the Yoshinoya feel to me is much better than Singapore one. Then we took the tram to XingHai Park. It was pretty cool to have a chance to ride on it, yet regretful as it was very congested and the skill of the driver did not seems to be good that make us feel dizzy on tram.

Soon we reached XingHai Park, we were so happy to ride on the 摩天轮, it has been a long long time I never ride on that. yet the sound of it when it worked is scaring us, it makes me felt I would fall down anytime. What a special experience. After that we saw a Bungee game nearby, it looked pretty exciting which being thrown up and pulled down. I was thinking of trying it. In the end I was bit regret, especially when I was tied up and hang on the air. I started to scream. The more time the guy doing the tension thing and trying to throw me higher, the louder I scream. It was very scary, being thrown away. It was very painful, being pull back. I tried it 3 times and my leg was shaking crazily. I couldn’t even walk after I came down.

After that we walked all the way to the huge book in XingHai Square. It was a huge curve slope structure for people to play on it. Simple yet fun. We stayed there for quite a long time. Doing a lot of stunts. Try to jump on the slope, posed some letters like “DID”, “LOVE” and “YAY.” And so on. Pretty fun.

When we went back to Xing Gong Jie, we went to Carrefour and had our dinner in KFC. I tried their new product – French Beef Pentagon.

27th DAY

I spent my whole day in Discovery Kingdom.

I woke up at 7.30AM preparing sandwiches for Honeymooners. Jonathan was in charge of the Jam Bread. We also have Qoo Drink for everyone. Nice yea!

Leave student condominium at 9am, reaching Discovery Kingdom at 1015am. My mood suddenly get so exciting for it. WHOO!!!

There are over 26 games in Discovery Kingdom, most of them is rotating 360 degree, either horizontal, vertical or both. Thus, since the first game I’ve been rotating up and down, left and right. It was quite an interesting experience yet a bit dizzy also.

The games I liked most is Space Shot and Viking, it was the only game I wanted to try the second time.

Endless Screaming when I rode on Roller Coaster. Sharon was sitting beside me, making me more nervous than excited. Haha, well, both of us enjoyed screaming. We spent more than one hour just queue for the Roller Coaster, A bit wasting time just for queuing.

The most regretful part was I didn’t get to ride on the “Desert Storm” as the amount of people has to reach 30 to get the ride.

5pm it was time to go back, I was exhausted. Cooking dinner by myself.

26th DAY

Interim Review was on schedule as usual. Today’s presentation seems a bit unsure. Everything seems still in progress. Brain seems still not working.
I started to get nervous as the deadline is approaching real fast.

After the interim review, it was time for lunch as usual.
After lunch, there was a talk as usual.
It was a talk by Professor Lim, about Brand Design and Graphic Design. There was a translator for today’s talk. Not bad right? Yet, the translation was … very cute.
3 minutes of explaining with the powerpoint silde in Chinese, end up with translation by the cute lady “This work…..this work..is done by our Professor Lim”

After the talk, DID was gathering up, heading out to 兴工街 to have dinner, also celebrating EeLaine’s birthday which is on Wednesday. We went to a SteakHouse. Finally, I had western food. Finally……
The Sirloin Steak was not bad, the way they served was 40% similar with Pepper Lunch. When ordering it, it was quite difficult for me to tell them I want it medium rare. How they named the level of cooked is 50%, 70%, 80% and 90%. Thus, I just about to say it 50%. I guess medium rare should be around 50%.

After the dinner, we had ice cream for dessert.

Then we went to Wal-mart nearby to shop for food. Tomorrow we were going to Discovery Kingdom. Thus we got to buy something to prepare for tomorrow’s meal.

24th and 25th DAY

Hmm...
Warmer day.

Spend whole day with project.
Drawing drafting modeling.

After class, Some of our group went for Badminton.
Thus, Jonathan, Anglia, Jamie and I cooked Seaweed Egg soup 紫菜蛋花汤, with chicken soup base and some mushroom! We took away fried rice again for our dinner, I'm really quite sick of it already.
Keith promised to treat me Botak Jones when I go back to Singapore! I'm so so so so looking forward whoo!

After dinner, felt like playing badminton. Thus, Jonathan, Anglia, Jamie and I went down to the road just next to our block to play.
I guess I laugh, pick up the shuttle cock more and run more than really playing badminton.
Looking to the locals who played badminton as well, I only saw their hand swinging, few steps of movement only.
Hmm, I prefer ours. More fun, haha.
In the end we played a more extreme version, two of us hit the shuttle cock at the same time and hit the coming shuttle cock at the same time. Pretty fun yea!

At night, my shoulder start aching again. The ache has been following me since half year ago. I really couldn't help it thus I used 虎标颈肩舒 for myself to temporary escape from the pain.

After jogging 6 round (2400 metres) and badminton night.
My leg got into the most exhausting situation.
It was so difficult for me to squat down, to climb up and down the stairs.

Yet....
Start addicted to Badminton, without any reason. Thus four of us planned to get our own self a badminton racket. Jonathan and I sharing a pair of racket with 40 RMB.

Too excited about it, we played it at the second floor lift lobby after class.
Quite fun, quite cozy....
Hah, I hit the ball into the cove on the ceiling.
MingFu sacrificed his life to climb up high to help me get the ball!

24th DAY

My second elder sister engaged.
I saw my family in the photos, how I wished I could be in the picture as well.
I miss my family, I miss them.

Monday, rain finally stopped.
The weather was still cooling of the two days raining.

Time for jogging.
Thus after class Jew Ping, MingFu, Lopez, Weechai, Amanda and I went to DPU outdoor stadium to jog. It has been a long long time I never go jogging, I prefer swimming actually, yet who dare to go swimming in this country, in this weather.

Hmm..

Days and nights are the same, spent for project.
Project started to get interesting to me, as it was quite playful to do with the concept - constantly changing and with the design modular - tetris.
Fun, yet a lot of things need to be considered and customized.
I wish I had more energy, oh no, I'm getting old.
I wish I would achieve a good learning space at the end of the day!

22nd DAY

It is 10.04 AM Dalian Time, temperature 26 C/11 C.
I am so far away from home.
Although the current alert status of Influenza A decreased from Orange to Yellow, there is a confirmed case of Influenza A in China.
Scarier news is that, the people who contacted with the person (144) has spread to 21 province in China.
I just want to reach home in the next second.

Now shall talk about my weekend,
The weather didn't treat us well in the weekend.
Stubborn CY decided to fight with it.
Saturday trip has postponed to Sunday, and Sunday Dalian had a whole day rain shower.

Whatever.
I stubbornly went out on Sunday, as I promised to myself.
Poor Alice sacrificed.

First stop we went was 胜利广场
Then we walked to 友好广场 and 中山广场

There is a pretty interesting KFC restaurant in 友好广场.
It looks so classic and stylish.
And we headed into the the KFC, quite surprised that I finally can have a soft drink with ice, in such a cold weather. ^^

Then we walked to 中山广场 nearby, the rain just shower non-stopping.

There are mostly Banks around 中山广场
The building here are mostly European Style. Quite cool and nice.
This is a public toilet on the street.
Pretty weird, to me. 20cents to go in, 20 minutes time to do your business, after 20 minutes, door will open by itself immediately~ WHOO!!! cool yea?!
After we went to 3 of the Square, we headed to Labour Park劳动公园.
There was a botanic exhibition specially for Labour Day, thus we had to pay 10 RMB for student ticket.
Well, There are just very few people walking around. Hah, That's true, I wonder who will be so silly to come to Labour Park during such a rainy day? I am.
Labour Park is just a combination of Escape Theme Park, Botanic Garden and Chinese Garden in Singapore.
Finally, I saw the big big Football which I always seen in image and videos. WHOO!! I'm here!


After Labour Park we went to Shopping Malls nearby to check it out.
The shopping malls there just like Orchard Road, all branded stuff being sold.
Hmm hmm...not for us to shop. -.-
In the end we went back to 胜利广场 to shop!
So much cheaper than those place although they are all pirated ones. LOL
I shopped for souvenirs for friends.

Tiring day, we walked a lot, shoes were wet, pants were dirty.
Well, Still felt happy though. ^^
