2nd, 3rd and 4th DAY

Settled down in Dalian Polytechnic University.
The second day is Orientation Day.

We gathered in the morning to have breakfast..
The breakfast was cold...and tasteless.
Hmmm.. I guess I was still not get used to their taste and food yet.

After that we had our walk in DPU.
Done our Library Card and so on. We went to our art school to have a look, knew new people there. I got a China Chinese Partner, called 杨娟. She got the same surname as mine~ so nice

LOL then we walked around, and had lunch together.
This is 杨娟. My partner.
We also went to a gallery to see works by their seniors and graduates.
It was quite shocked with their works, their rendering is really nice, how they generate the ideas until the production to me is quite clear. 今天你笑了吗? "Have you smile today?"
It was still raining this whole day, since that day we came.
This is my lunch, which cost me only 3.50yuan. It was a lot that I could not finish it!
Then start walking in the rain again....oh my god, it was so cold!!!!!!!! I'm freezing!!
Before the opening ceremony for us, we went to DPU museum to understand their history. This lecturer is telling us all the history about.At the beginning, DPU was called 沈阳轻工学院 since 1958. It changed few names before it was named 大连工业大学.
So it was now called 大连工业大学, Dalian Polytechnic University.and....This is all of us in the shoot!!!Haha
After that we went to attend the opening ceremony....
It was still raining..Freezing!!!!
After the ceremony we went to town兴工街 to get some stuff back and dinner!
We were taking the 快速共交 BRT to get there.
During the journey, we met traffic jam and it was so crowded in bus.
I could not help anymore. The people here is really a lot.
And there is no air ventilation in the bus too...
and finally we reached. We went to the Shopping Centre nearby.
I wondered why we could not take picture there. There was a policeman asked us not to take photo.
and they are quite unfriendly...I was thinking if it was because of their way of talking or this was their culture.
I had dinner for 8yuan. a not bad dinner.
The next day we only had class in the afternoon, so I went to explore the school.
This is what I had for breakfast and it is the best food I ate in China so far I guess!!! this is called 烤饼夹肉, and it only costs 2.50yuan.While we were about to go to fruit stall nearby, we saw a dog!!!It was so friendly and it came to us and stretched for us~~ so cute! HAHA
We were having gems class in the afternoon, it was about Dalian.
Pretty cool that it was taught in English, actually I din understand much of the English he was talking. But I tried my best. There are some place which is quite interested to explore in Dalian City. It is a must-go before I come back to Singapore~!!

Hehehehe... at night~~~ just feel like eating steamboat. So we went to the steamboat restaurant nearby. It was quite cheap also, the dinner cost $55 for 5 persons.
The next day, we were having class and launched the project brief.

This was the site we were going to have our project done. It was in the library.

When the class end, it was around 6pm. Sun set around that time.
It was so nice and the weather is no longer so freezing. It was getting warm.

This is my forth day I was being here.
and I had lots of fun.
I wish all my friends did too!!
How I feel....The scheme were added a grey tone. It might because of the weather there. The building around here were also very greyish, it is not as colourful as how I feel in Singapore. I found they used a lot of stone and wood material. Thus the tone will be like that.

Their traffic is quite messy. They even can go through when the red light is on. I felt so scared when I cross the road. haha. I wonder how I survive if I stay here for longer.
